Did you know that according to the CIA's World Factbook (www.cia.gov), Kenya is 85.5% Christian? That's wonderful news, right? If that statistic is true, why does it not seem to translate to a nation known for integrity, morality and righteousness? Why is the church not a respected voice of godliness and wisdom?
Kenya is blessed to be a country free to worship God. In fact, you would have to travel to a pretty remote area to find a person who has never heard about God. That's because Christian Religious Education (CRE) has been a required subject in the public school system since the inception of education in Kenya even before independence. The problem is that many people have the knowledge about Jesus but they have not allowed Him to into their hearts to transform their lives. The Bible will not help you if you just know it...you have to live it! TMA exists to help men and women live out their faith in a way that will bring transformation not just to their own lives, but to their families, churches, communities and nation! |
